Japan’s Largest Rewards Site Launching Bitcoin Exchange

According to Bitcoin News, the operator of Japan’s largest rewards site with 5 million users is launching a bitcoin exchange. Ceres Inc has partnered with Japanese exchange Bitbank to use its B2B white label bitcoin exchange service to launch a cryptocurrency exchange.

Litecoin Hit's New All Time High

Litecoin hit a new all time high this weekend. There is some speculation that folks are selling their Bitcoin Cash and putting that money into Litecoin, perhaps as a hedge against Bitcoin. I don't really know exactly why, I just follow the technical analysis.

Bitcoin Remittance Market

More from Cointelegraph, South Korean conglomerate, Dongbu Group, has announced a partnership with Bitcoin remittance service provider Sentbe in its bid to enter the Bitcoin remittance market.

For those of you unfamiliar with the terminology, a remittance is a transfer of money by a foreign worker to an individual in his or her home country. Money sent home by migrants competes with international aid as one of the largest financial inflows to developing countries.

ATM Chain

According to CoinDesk, China UnionPay, the payment card giant, hopes to patent a system for connecting a network of ATMs using blockchain technology.

The patent reads, "According to the present invention, the server can synchronize all the information directly as the monitoring node, facilitate the aggregation of the transaction information, and perform the predetermined processing on the transaction information by using the asymmetric encryption algorithm, thereby ensuring the security of the transaction information."
